Chris Mcilwaine
Principal Dentist

Chris is our practice principal and owner. He has worked in the practice since 2007, taking over as owner in 2012. Chris prides himself in providing excellent patient care to a very high standard. He is committed to continuing professional development and has an interest in aesthetic dentistry, implant restorative treatments and digital dentistry. He is currently due to graduate in a post graduate diploma in dental sedation from the university of Edinburgh. Away from dentistry he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young sons and tries to play golf when he can (although to a modest standard he reluctantly admits).

Sandra Paul BDS
Dentist

Sandra Paul graduated from Glasgow University Dental School in 1997 and after completing her Vocational Training in Paisley, she went to Hamilton for 2 years before moving to Govan where she worked in a busy NHS practice for 12 years. Sandra started at Glasgow South Dental Care in June 2012.

Tracy Wighton BDS
Dentist

Tracy is the longest serving dentist at the practice, joining us in 1997. She qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1988, taking her first position in Newcastle. She has also been fortunate enough to have had spells working abroad before settling at Glasgow South Dental.

Lesley Walker BDS
Dentist

Lesley qualified from the university of Glasgow in 1997 and spent time in general practice in south Glasgow until relocating to Oregon USA with her family for several years. She returned to Glasgow in 2018 and joined Glasgow south dental care shortly after.
